  • Assessing our actions

The Académie Musicale Philippe Jaroussky is committed to measuring the social impact of its project. The evaluation process aims to observe whether the results are in line with the objectives. It allows the Académie’s teams to best direct their actions and aid the project to evolve. Each activity in the programme is assessed with different indicators and analysis tools.

Young Apprentices Programme

The Young Apprentices’ progress is regularly evaluated by the Académie’s team, through different tools. These evaluations focus on musical skills but also on more transversal skills, linked to the overall development of the children. They are established by the Académie’s team, and shared with families and social partners in order to observe if the project has an impact on the children in their other circles of life (family, school, social center, etc.). The impact of the programme on the families is also monitored, particularly for the evolution of cultural activities at home.

Beyond these regular assessments, the Académie evaluates the social impact of the Young Apprentices programme after 3 years for each promotion, through individual interviews (on aspects related to the personal development of the child) and factual criteria.
