Democratising access
to classical music

Beyond its programmes targeted at Young Talents and Young Apprentices, the Académie wishes to reach a wider public by raising awareness of classical music among audiences who are prevented or distanced from this practice, thus pursuing its goal of democratising classical music.

For this purpose, the Académie pursues projects aimed at school audiences, in connection with teachers and institutions, such as:

  • Performances by Young Talents or teachers in schools, in the form of workshops or mini-concerts,
  • School visits at La Seine Musicale for masterclasses or concerts by Young Talents,
  • General rehearsals of Young Talents concerts performed in front of a school audience.

To set up an educational project or a performance in your school, please contact us.

In addition, the Académie is developing other actions to bring music to audiences who are unable to attend concerts, and to raise awareness among the beneficiaries of partnerning social structures.

These actions can take different forms:

  • Concerts or musical workshops in nursing homes, hospitals, etc.
  • Invitations to concerts for the beneficiaries of social structures

If you would like to discuss the organisation of a cultural action for people who are unable to attend or who do not have access to cultural events, please contact us.
